Defeat the Tax Bill. Stop the Save Act. Vote Local. Take Back the House.

Defeat the Tax Bill. Stop the Save Act. Vote Local. Take Back the House.

Together we can take back our Democracy.

Why We Ride

Across the country, everyday people like you are rising up to protect our democracy and each other.

With dozens of Congressional districts that will determine if we win back the House, and ultimately serve as a check on Trump, we can’t afford to wait.

While the federal election isn’t until November 2026, organizing must begin now. We need to build the movement and our power, and that starts with actions now -- to hold members of Congress accountable today and working on local elections in November 2025.

That’s why we’re launching the Battleground Bus Tour—to activate voters, inspire local candidates, and rally for policies that support working-class communities. We’re fighting back against the GOP’s tax bill, which threatens working families, and the SAVE Act, which disenfranchises millions. Our response must be bold, coordinated, and immediate.

  • Trump and the Republicans are trying to pass a disastrous tax bill (what Trump calls the Big Beautiful Bill) that would cut Medicaid, gut critical government services, and drive inflation higher – all to give billionaires trillions of dollars more in tax breaks.

We need to show up in battleground districts to apply pressure and define the bill for people as what it is: a giveaway to the rich at our expense.

Fighting the tax bill this summer is essential to defeat it and to hold members accountable should it pass. Plus it sets the stage to win by making swing district voters understand that Republicans are driving up costs and cutting Medicaid to pay for a massive giveaway to the rich.

  • The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act is one of the most draconian voter suppression bills we’ve seen in decades. Masquerading as “election integrity,” this Republican-backed legislation would force every voter to present physical proof of U.S. citizenship—like a passport, birth certificate, or naturalization papers—just to register to vote in federal elections. But here’s the reality: nearly 21 million Americans lack access to these documents, and almost half the country doesn’t have a passport. For the 69 million women who changed their name after marriage, mismatched documents could instantly disqualify them from voting. For rural communities, naturalized citizens, low-income voters, and people of color, the hurdles become insurmountable—amounting to a modern-day poll tax dressed up as reform.

The goal is clear—make voting harder for the very Americans whose voices threaten the far-right agenda. This is the moment to act. We must stand together, expose the lie behind the SAVE Act, and defend every American’s fundamental right to vote.

  • On Tuesday November 4th, 2025, local elections will take place for school boards, local villages, towns, cities and judges across our country along with statewide elections in New Jersey and Virginia. We can’t wait to start our electoral work, we must begin with local elections.

To understand how we arrived in this moment, we have to look back to the 1970’s when a small group of extreme far-right idealogues in the Republican Party started to target school boards and local elections. Their goal was to build power for a future far-right Supreme Court, Congress and Presidency that could enact their extremist agenda.

We have arrived at that future moment and in order to take back power, we must start at the local level. We are encouraging everyone to get involved in local politics and either run for local government or support progressives and Democrats in winning local elections.

What Should I Know?

Bus Tour Stops

This summer, we’re hitting the road to energize voters, build progressive power, and win elections.

COMING IN JULY 2025

Our nationwide mini bus tour kicks off in late July 2025. Along with key allies, we’ll travel through five critical Congressional districts in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania—rallying communities, activating volunteers, generating local media coverage, live streaming our events, and elevating the stakes of 2026.

Each stop will feature high-energy events—from press conferences to rallies drawing hundreds of people—with veterans, elected leaders, business owners, artists, and grassroots organizers. These "mini barnstorms" will spark local activism, canvassing drives, recruit local candidates, and bring new voters into the fold.

Our goal: Build lasting progressive infrastructure from the ground up—and power a wave of electoral wins in 2026 and beyond.
